  53.    With all the recent talk about getting TCP/IP on the air by making
  54. an old 286 with NOS a router, I'm inspired to give it a shot.  But I
  55. know little about the cards referred to in recent posts that were said
  56. to be much cheaper than full-blown TNCs.
  57.  
  58.    Can anyone provide a recommendation for such a card?  Hopefully one
  59. that doesn't require an obscure NOS variant to operate.  I assume
  60. these cards are basically like TNCs, but only with KISS mode.

  75. After days of a few of us new owners struggling to get our C50 DSK's
  76. going, we decided to call TI.  The tools worked OK, the Loader alone
  77. did not.

  79. It seems that that EXE was compiled under OS/2 and will not run under
  80. "plain" ms-dos.
  81.  
  82. Jason Chyan advises that a new EXE will be on the TI BBS in a "few weeks".

  112.  I've just downloaded the new Linux Jnos from ftp.uscd.edu and got a bunch
  113. of new errors during the compile. It's Linux 1.0.8. Anybody else getting
  114. errors? I've yet to look into it in more detail. Pointers and help
  115. appreciated.

  133. I just acquired a bunch of numerically controlled
  134. oscillator and DDS hardware in various unknown states.
  135. Among the parts represented are the DRFS-2250, the
  136. TRW TDC1012J, a PC board called the DRFS-PCHPE, a
  137. PC board called the DRFS-DX 2070, etc.  Any of this
  138. stuff sound familiar?  I need technical data.

  160. I would try changing the SwitchStream parameter in the TNC and in the
  161. paKet configuration menu. Also, if your TNC supports ChangeDouble I 
  162. would us it. Sorry if I have the TNC parameter names incorrect, I'm
  163. just trying to recall them from memory.

  177. Help! I am having AFSK packet and RTTY output power problems with my Kenwood
  178. TS-450S/AT in digital modes. I have it interfaced with a PK-232MBX. The
  179. interface seems to be right, however, I cannot get anything other than a few
  180. (15 to 20) watts of SSB power. The MIC gain has little effect and I cannot
  181. overdrive the ALC.  In the CW key-down, the rig puts out near 100 watts. It is
  182. just wimpy in the digital modes. Turning up the AFSK output on the PK-232 has
  183. little effect. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
